Wolves football selling performance bands to raise funds

NEWBERRY - The Newberry College football team is currently selling performance bands with the team logo to raise funds. Fans can get the bands from any Newberry football coach for $15.

The 8ight bands have been previously licensed by schools such as Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, SMU and Troy. A study published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise which was presented at the American College of Sports Medicine convention in 2011 confirmed the bands provide a muscle endurance increase and improved recovery.
